Hola! I’m Daniel Moreno an Miami-based, bilingual freelance Director and Creative Producer, nice to e-meet you!

It all began with a Nokia flip phone that I got when I immigrated to the US from Mexico. Making videos about my LA family and our experiences gave me an itch for storytelling, which Ied me to pursue a higher education and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in Film Production. Go Slugs!

Shortly after graduating I began an internship at mitú that led to a full-time Director position, a media publisher dedicated to producing original content focusing on young US based Latinos. Here I Directed and Creative Produced multiple original series, social content and brand partnerships in both small guerilla style productions and larger branded activations. Partnered closely with vertical brand leads and marketing team to develop year round sponsored opportunities and content strategy. In my tenure in this position, I deeply learned the intricacies of reaching an audience, how the algorithm works on various social platforms, and audience engagement, leading us to this viral video.

I have also directed and creatively produced sponsored live performances for artists like Carla Morrion, Katzu Oso, and other artists from Cosmica Records, racking over 8 million views.

With all these various styles of storytelling under my belt, I have the foundation to continue to tell stories in an innovative, caring and fun way to reach audiences and grow brands.  

Besides my love for storytelling, you can find me at music festivals, catching sun at the beach or hanging out with my wife and two dogs!
